A lot of my friends are getting married soon so I thought I would have some wedding cards on stock. One of my friends is having a vintage-y rustic wedding so I thought a lace card on kraft cardstock would be perfect. I used this awesome lace background stamp.
I inked the stamp in versamark ink, made sure to use my anti-static powder tool. The powder tool is a must if you have a more intricate background stamp like this. I then stamped the image on the paper. I then covered it with really fine white embossing powder.
Thankfully, it only took two tries to get a nice clear image. I heat embossed the powder and it was time to add a sentiment. I took the remnants of my first failed attempted and just cut a strip from it. I then heat embossed the sentiment on the back of it to save paper. I attached it to the card with foam tape for dimension, and ta-da! Rustic wedding card complete!
