Galaxies are all the rage in the arts and crafts world. They’re also much easier to create than you think. I create the galaxy for this card using distress inks. I blended the colors first in random spots.
I used the mini blending tool to blend here and with those, you have to remember to start off of the card front, then work your ink in with a circular motion.
Then here comes the scary part…. Covering it all with black distress ink. It was a little daunting at first but then it certainly made sense. I then flicked some white acrylic paint on it for my stars.
After that I heat embossed my moon as well as my sentiment. I then covered the top and bottom borders with black glitter washi tape to finish my galaxy card with distress inks.
