I bought the paper pad before the stamp set. As soon I saw the stamp, I knew what kind of card I had to make. I want a classy and vintage style island- themed card.

Island/Hawaii/Tropical cards are trendy right now, but I wanted less whimsy, more hawaiiana. So I matched the blue on the pattern paper with some blue dye ink and went to town. I cut an organic line reminiscent of waves and then just split the two pieces in half.

I then trimmed the straight edge of the pieces to fit my card. After that I used my stamping tool to do some double stamping. With some darker inks, it make take second generation stamping to get full coverage. There you have it: my own die cut panel for the window in my island-themed card.
