Here are 5 Handmade Teacher Appreciation Card Ideas.
“You Make The World A Better Place” Teacher Card
This card card is quick and simple. I used this die to cut out my flower frame then colored it in. Then I ink blended a circular area to place my flower frame on. I then used this word die for my sentiment and sub-sentiment. This card works for a tutor or childcare provider as well.
Supplies:
Flower Frame Die
“You” Stamp and Die Set
Distress Oxide Ink
Dew Drops
Glue
Foam Tape
“You Are The Best Teacher” Word Search Card
I remember doing word search worksheets in the classroom in school so I thought this would be a perfect thank you card for a teacher. It was really easy to put together once I had this stamp set. Then I added some nuvo drops over the magnifying glass for more dimension. I die cut the word “teacher” and slightly stacked them offset.
Supplies:
Word Search Stamp Set
Black Ink
Black Nuvo Drops
Teacher Die
Glue
“For the Best Teacher” Apple Shaker Card
I love making shaker cards so with this cool, layered apple stamp set, I created this fun teacher shaker card. I stamped the apple in these inks. I then stamped my sentiment. Then I added red and silver sequins and then added my shaker frame with foam tape.
Supplies:
Apple Stamp
Inks
Sequins
Foam Tape
Acetate
“Big Heart” Teacher Card
This heart die was calling out for a rainbow so I pulled out these markers from my cool marker bag to color the pieces. Then I stamped my sentiment using my stamp positioner. I then added the whole thing to a light grey cardstock to help frame it out.
Supplies:
Heart Die
Markers
Marker Bag
Stamp Set
Fog Cardstock
“You’re The Best” Chalkboard Card
This teacher card is a throwback to the classrooms of the past where chalkboards were actually used. I heat embossed my main sentiment. Then I stamped the rest of the images in this white pigment ink for the background. I then swiped some white pigment ink across my card front to help create the chalkboard effect. Then I popped a brown frame over top to finish the card.
Supplies:
Teacher Stamp Set 1
Teacher Stamp Set 2
White Embossing Powder
White Pigment Ink
Stamp Positioner
