For this congratulations card, I used a stencil to do some ink blending with purples and blues. I used masking tape to hold the stencil over my card front and then blended the inks over top.
After removing the stencil. I heat embossed the word “congrats” in white embossing power over black card stock. Then I fussy cut the shadow around the sentiment.
I wanted to keep the sentiment simple as the background was very busy. See the process video on my instagram.
