This is a perfect clean and simple card for Mother’s Day. I wanted an ombre effect with pink colors and to jazz it up, I added a rose as well.
First, I cut out a custom stencil with my silhouette cameo of a rose. I also made a custom die cut mask of the word “mom”. Then I decided to ink blend with distress inks on the right side of the card first.
Then I started with the darkest shade and started putting on ink from the left. When I got closer to the rose, I put another mask on top on the rose (make sure it’s dry!), to help protect it. See my instagram for the process video.
