The holidays are just around the corner. Have you started on your Winter or Christmas cards yet?
I saw this stamp set from Lawn Fawn and I just had to have it. The ice skating polar bears are just adorable. It’s also nice they you get the front and back of the polar bear as well.
I started off my hand cutting a mask from this masking paper. I used one half to mask out the card front for my sky, and the other half to mask off for my frozen skating rink. I used this shade of blue for the sky. And it occurred to me, that I have this shade of mousse in my craft stash, and it would be perfect for an ice skating rink.
I drew and cut out my own little ice floe, and adhered my polar bear pals on. I also stamped some snowflakes from the stamp set onto my sky. Then I wrote in my own sentiment. I’d love to design my own stamps one day. See process video on my instagram page.
