I don’t always feel good about sending sympathy cards, but at least the recipient knows I worked hard and cared to give them a handmade card. This one was for a relative who was going through a rough time.
For this card, I wanted a sunset over a park. Something that was meaningful for the recipient. I used claritystamp brushes to blend the distress inks.
Once the ink dried, I them stamped the tree in a black archival ink. I then let the card dry overnight since I was going to stamp the sentiment over everything.
I wanted an opaque looking sentiment, so I decided to stamp in white ink. I definitely used my MISTI stamping tool so I could double stamp with ease.
