Ink blending is one of my favorite techniques to use. With the use of the claritystamp stencil brushes, ink blending is a cinch. This time, I tried to use a stencil, and it gave a really cool effect.
I thought I wanted to do an ombre, but then decided just to gradient three different cool tones of the rainbow. I used some simple painter’s tape just to hold the stencil in place, and then I worked the ink over.
Because of the busy background, I decided work with some vellum and heat embossing. Once that was done, I strategically placed glue behind the sentiment, and adhered the entire piece to the card.
Ink blending with a stencil card, done and done.
