For all of these techniques, I highly recommend using an Easy Clean Craft Mat for all of your crafting. I also used this die set to create a set of Thank You cards.
Start by wetting your watercolor cardstock. Add your watercolor and start fading it out. Or you can start with a light wash and build more color.
2. Ink Blending
I use this smooth cardstock for my ink blending. These inks are a dream to blend with these ink blending tools. I started with the strong concentration of color on one sided and gradually faded it out to the other side.

3. Alcohol Markers
I start with a trio of copic markers. I go from light to medium to dark to medium to light. It’s best when you lay down a layer of ink first so the colors blend better.

4a. Stamping with Stamping Tool
You can add ombré to your stamps with this technique of stamping the same stamp with different ink colors. My stamping tool definitely helps out with this technique to overlap the colors.
4b. Individual Stamps
If you don’t have a stamping tool, you can still stamp individual images to create an fun ombré background.
5. Die Cutting
I pulled some pieces from my scrap pile and used individual strips to piece together an ombré pattern. I didn’t used dies but you get the idea. Then I attached them with some tape runner.
