Here’s a tutorial on how to make easy DIY shaker cards. These handmade greeting cards are simple and quick to create and are perfect for birthdays or any occasion.
I’ve made multiple shaker cards before. Some were really dimensional and some were basic.
This type of shaker card is a frameless card which I saw from Ilovedoingallthingscrafty. It’s not as dimensional as traditional shaker cards so it’s much easier to send through the mail.
You probably have the main supply somewhere in an old binder. For this easy shaker card idea, I used sheet protectors.
I decided to make them birthday themed cards since I was running low on my stash.

I like shaker cards but they intimidate me. I like your inspiration. I noticed your were using the Fiskars paper cutter. I use Ninna or Gina K or other high quality card stock but my paper doesn’t come out smooth. Even when I used new blades I still have issues with it. Do I have to change the wire? Can you advise
it is possibly the wire, or there is gunk in the track where it cuts.
Wow! Thanks. I’ll check Michaels for the wire.
I absolutely love these easy shaker cards!!!!
